A Derby win would effectively put Cardiff four points adrift of safety with the goal difference.

    New Manager

This is good content and gives you some idea as to why the players have responded to Sheehan.

One point in five games since Ismael took over. Currently 2-0 down in the sixth. Keep that up and he isn't going to be there next season.

Hardest thing for them will be maintaining the drama. Every year so far there has been something to play for. A couple of dull, mid table Championship finishes won't do them any good. They might even be better off in a relegation battle.

I also want to see how he plays off Vipotnik now we've finally learned how to use him properly. Neither Williams nor Sheehan seem to want to play both of them at the same time. Yesterday might have been a good time given how rank Ronnie was in the first half.

Bianchini is polarising but he is by some distance the quickest player we have based on what I've seen. Whilst he's just as ineffective as Cullen when played upfront (at least playing the way we do) he deserves more chances out wide for me.

    Looks like it.

Is This a New Jay Fulton? Or Does He Need To Go?

Given the way Derby play/played, it seemed pretty obvious that Fulton was asked to sit deep as a physical presence as opposed to a creative one and given the zero goals against you'd have to say job done. No matter what he does Jay will always take stick from some.

Derby's run in isn't easy either. They've got to play Burnley, WBA, Stoke, Hull, Luton and Portsmouth. All of them with something to play for.

It says a lot that the highlights video on the Sky website is only 75 seconds long.

Is This a New Jay Fulton? Or Does He Need To Go?

It's not a new Jay Fulton. It's the same one we've always had. The capable Championship midfielder somehow entirely blamed for whatever happened when he was paired with Grimes. By no means a great player, but certainly not a bad one, despite what the people who don't like to think too much may...

    2023/24 Financial Statements

On the scale of it this is a relatively small investment which could potentially provide massive returns. £10-15m a season is not a huge amount to these guys. Tyler Morse not long ago spent nearly £300m on the BT tower in London. I'd be surprised if there weren't certain tax advantages to it too.

How Much Each Swans Player Gets? Check it out!

For me Eom was better than Ronnie, and Ronnie was better than Cooper, although none of them were great. The former two could at least control the ball.

How Much Each Swans Player Gets? Check it out!

It's also down to supporters. We're spending so much more beyond our means on players that upwards of £10m a season needs to be put in, yet everywhere you can read people whining about us signing "League One players", or criticising how little "investment" is made. A football club ownership...

How Much Each Swans Player Gets? Check it out!

If be more than happy with Cooper if all we were using him to do was come on late in games to add some terrier energy. To snap at the heels of opposition players and close out games. He's good at that. Sadly he's lacking everywhere else. He's not a #10 or a winger. He just hasn't got anything...

How Much Each Swans Player Gets? Check it out!

I would take some of these figures with a shaker full of salt. Some may be fairly accurate, but others almost certainly won't be. For example, at one point I don't doubt that we were paying Naughton £20k per week, but I very much doubt he'd still be getting that now.

Has Sheehan Got What It Takes?

Professional footballers who have spent most of the last four years (or however long they've been at the club) being drilled to not take any chances. If a risky shot is on, then to pass it instead. There were signs that they were being deprogrammed, but today was very much a backwards step. The...

    Josh key at it again

His performances have gone into the toilet almost since that exact moment. He looked like he was running in treacle today. Like he'd played 120 minutes and everyone else 10 or 15. Maybe it's a fitness thing, maybe he's got a new baby at home, or it's something deeper. The mistakes he was...
