Swansea City Have Parted Ways with Head Coach Luke Williams

At the club for eleven years. Nearly 300 games played in either the Premier League or the Championship. Sixteen goals. Been a regular first team choice for almost every manager he's had. A go to guy for Sheehan now he's no longer shackled to Grimes. Still only 31. Will never fathom the contempt...

    Cardiff City relegation party

Also quite puzzling to see how desperate many of them are to see Ramsey get the managers job full time. They've spent most of the season whining about how Riza didn't have the ability/experience to manage them, yet have no problem when it's "one of their own". Given the mess that they're in the...

If it had been a game we needed to win he'd have come on for Allen.

The number of players they've got on big money are the main reason I suspect that they might not have bottomed out yet.

Yep. One last little effort to see if anyone else wants to trump our offer.

The Modric story was between us and him. This one involves another club. Who's to say that the leak isn't at their end?

Chambers still has two years left on his deal too. Anyone want to guess some odds on whether there's a relegation clause?

Nobody considering them as a potential investment will give two shits about that. If being a "Capital City" was a factor investors would be swarming all over the likes of Charlton, Millwall or Leyton Orient. They'll be looking at a club up to its eyeballs in debt to the owner, with an extremely...

    Cardiff City relegation party

I don't know if they were actually stupid enough to pay Calum Chambers £45k per week, but I hope they were. A barely Championship standard player who had any aspirations of operating at the top level ended by a Swans player only fit about 20% of the time. With club management and decision...

We see it time and time again around here. Players are blamed for the tactical choices of their managers.

Still think he's potentially a better #10 than a winger. Maybe next season a midfield of Franco sitting deep, Widell as the charging centre and Eom at AM will pay dividends?

Remarkable how much attacking players can kick on when they're allowed to, y'know, attack instead of made to turn around and pass backwards if there's the slightest chance of losing the ball.

    Who Goes Next? Ginnelly?

That would be Naughton and Allen themselves. The club wanted both of them to stay.

    Who Goes Next? Ginnelly?

I dunno. His year in Scotland has demonstrated that he is at least capable. Damned by association with Russell Martin football for me. Made to look considerably worse by suicidal defensive strategy. Confidence smashed. Now we've moved on from all that, whilst I certainly wouldn't be playing him...

Can't see us paying £5m upfront for anyone. A deal potentially worth that with bonuses, sell on clauses and the like perhaps.

We're certainly not going to have much trouble playing 4-3-3. A quick Youtube suggests that he's fast and tricky. Which alongside Wales allegedly being quite fast also suggests that the lack of pace that has crippled us in recent years is being worked on.

    Kyle Naughton

League appearances. He's 320 odd in total appearances.

    Kyle Naughton

Wasn't always the most popular of players was KN. Endured more than his fair share of scapegoating during our last few seasons in the Prem, but always someone I rated. Glad to see the appreciation for him now. Rarely less than a 7/10 performance whenever he pulled on the shirt. Nothing flashy...

    Bobby Wales To Sign

We'll probably be looking to move the first two on anyway. Cullen clearly can't play as a lone striker, so hopefully he's more likely to be competition for Vipi.
