Brynhyfryd or Llangyfelach? I’ve been mullered in both many many times.

Just saw a clip of Bob Vylan on Twitter. He’s not gone down well among the patriots. I like him.

I’d never heard of Kneecap before a few weeks ago. Still never listened to any of their music. Probably never will. But I can’t help but like them. They seem to upset all the right people.

Rod Stewart has apparently expressed his support for Farage/Reform a day before his Glasto set. The stupid pretend Scot.

My wife is tonight at a fundraising event for MIND in memory of our nephew who took his own life at the age of 15. He’d have been 21 now. I have very little time for anyone who is trite enough to trot out the “mental health is the new bad back” cliche. It’s unbelievably offensive.

In all the ways I’ve told you continually for two pages now. I’m out mate. Enjoy your Saturday. I hope you’ve got a party to go to. You’ll definitely be the life and soul.

That was supposed to be our little secret, Brenda.

It’s not really off topic to be fair. Uni pulls funding. Same club finds alternative funding and continues on as before with a different name to reflect the change in funding.

    No. It’s counterfactual.

I’ve only just noticed the original post on this thread. I’ve been blamed and lied about a lot this week but I didn’t realise benefit cuts are my fault as well. What a week. :ROFLMAO:

It’s the opposite of that. You can’t just make shit up and pretend they’re facts. That’s trumpian.
  15. exiledclaseboy

    Pure Swansea FC

its a massive stretch to compare the two for anyone who knows what they’re talking about. You’d rather have seen the club fold than change ownership and carry on as before. That’s just weird but each to their own.

    Pure Swansea FC

No there’s no link to the Uni because it’s not Swansea University FC anymore. Because the university didn’t want there to be. They pulled the funding. I don’t know how many times I have to say this. It wasn’t a hostile takeover ala MK Dons.

    Pure Swansea FC

It’s the same club. Same teams. Same players. Same coaches. Playing in the same place using the same facilities. It’s now under new ownership. There are literally no parallels to Wimbledon/MK Dons here at all. None.

    Pure Swansea FC

They’ll still be playing in the same place. For now anyway. I’ll say it again, the uni pulled the funding. The team would have folded.
  19. exiledclaseboy

    Pure Swansea FC

Exactly. The argument makes no sense. Smacks of a bit of jealousy.

    Pure Swansea FC

Well yeah cos it’s not a uni club anymore. They decided to stop funding it.
