Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City v Stoke City | The EFL Championship

After the Boss had his rant. It'll be interesting who he deemed the worst of a poor bunch by his selection. Or will he be like a forgiving parent and play most of them.

Williams: "We had nothing" - Luke's assessment of unacceptable performance

I'll reserve judgement on his statement. He's had about 15 games to assess the squad and implement some sort of consistency in the squad. Apart from the Cardiff game I've seen nothing to suggest we have the right guy. His next two games IMO will define what he's really about.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

Stoke will beat us but we'll gain a gallant point against Rotherham. Last game of the season Obafemi scores for Wall to send us down. It's Written.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Middlesbrough vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

It's not our cup final. I'm expecting a very comfortable home win. Apart from a few I see no desire in our team.

    Luke

I still feel we need one more win. Luke what's your thoughts?

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | The Swans vs QPR | The EFL Championship | Easter Monday

Another woeful watch. Key mentioned exciting football. His excitement threshold must be low.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Sheffield Wednesday v Swansea City | The EFL Championship | Good Friday

Trouble is this performance is more the norm than the Cardiff game. It's reverse to type. Joe on the bench after 2 weeks rest from playing is staggering.

    Local Football

Haven't followed the local Swansea league for around 30 years. Out of interest how many teams and divisions are there now? When I played back in the mid 70s. We had 6 divisions and 5 reserve divisions on a Saturday and 6 divisions on a Sunday. I remember being told then we had the 2nd largest...

    Enjoy :-)

Hopefully they are getting over it now. I've heard Holly Willoughby has been in touch with them to check they are OK.

    Swansea's Cup Final

We're gonna need a bigger trophy cabinet if we remain in the same division as our baby sisters.

    Steve Harley

RIP One of my favourites. Had all his early stuff in the 70s. Seen him at the Brangwyn with about 300 people.https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/breaking-rock-star-steve-harley-32374376

    Defending set pieces

It's an issue for sure. However no shots on target with 73% possession is even more alarming.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Bristol City vs Swansea City | The EFL Championship

72% Poss. No shots on target. We've been here before. Luckily Bristol no shots at all.

    Todays ref Rebecca Welch

If we had lost. I guess she would have been sh*t like all the others are if we lose. Wonder what the Blackburn fans reaction was.

Williams wanting to repeat away performances at home

Although our home form is terrible. I was surprised to see that 9 other teams in the championship have lost more games than they have won at home. With two winning and losing the same amount. Whatever happened to making your home advantage count?

If he uses the the word brave in his post interview I'll be done with him.

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Ipswich Town | The EFL Championship

Looks like our last game of the season home to Millwall may decide who stays up.

Ipswich Town next up for the Swans but there should be nothing to fear?

Well that's a relief we've nothing to fear. I've been behind the sofa since Tuesday.

    Mykolo Kuharevych?

I hope this isn't another Gyokeres or Whittaker situation. Where he's given very little or no gametime shipped out and becomes a £10-20m striker.
