    Swans to confirm McBurnie signing

Playing behind closed doors today? Killer pool in the Coracle seems like his pregame routine 😳

    Tinnitus

They prescribe marijuana for it here in Canada - which is legal here anyway. But if you can get some i hear (pardon the pun) good things about its effects

    Seasons expectations

Parking recency bias with some underwhelming friendlies.. The Swans last 10 actual league fixtures were stellar results wise. What is the difference? We are down LOB and Darling (and some fringe players who didn't add much) but have added Innoussa Widdell Burgess Santos and Wales. Why are...

    Summer Transfer Window

One further thought is that we need to be clear about our tactical plan. How exactly are we planning to threaten the opposition? We are starting Cullen up front in the friendlies - so the plan is plainly NOT to go long and NOT to threaten the space behind defences. This means that we are reliant...

    Summer Transfer Window

It is becoming crystal clear to me that we need a good quality left sided defender who can cover LCB and LB - possibly a loan priority. In addition I want to see Dabrowski kept with the first team squad (and also 5-6 other youngsters). The nagging injury to Cabango is really starting to concern...

    Summer Transfer Window

Unfortunately in the real world - people get to see him actually play. Weak slow and no anticipation or movement. If we can find a sucker club i will be amazed

Season 25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Exeter City v Swansea City | Preseason Friendly | St James’ Park Exeter | 1pm (26.07.25)

Risk and reward gentlemen- we need a very high level of base fitness to successfully implement the Sheehan plan. That intensity of training causes casualties. If we get to the opening day reasonably intact we will see the benefits as the season plays out.

Season 25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Exeter City v Swansea City | Preseason Friendly | St James’ Park Exeter | 1pm (26.07.25)

Thank god for the 2 hour time difference to Ontario mate - I just get an 8AM disappointment!

Season 25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Exeter City v Swansea City | Preseason Friendly | St James’ Park Exeter | 1pm (26.07.25)

Shows how thin we are at CB - the continued absence of Captain Cabango is becoming a concern!

    Barnsley 4 - 0 Swansea

The difference is that players are flogged early in pre season to build conditioning (not match sharpness) which is why theirminutes are so carefully managed. Even 1 week closer to the season the players are sharper amd more match fit. Not also rans to champions league - but you will see a MUCH...

    Barnsley 4 - 0 Swansea

I will see your Wolternade and raise you a Daniel James. Could not get a game at Shrewsbury and 16 months later Man Utd were paying 25 million for him.

    Barnsley 4 - 0 Swansea

Congreve seems to me to have quite a high ceiling, (see his goal v Newcastle in the cup last season) but at the same time a low floor (see his 2 deadfball deliveries on Wednesday). He has an X factor and can create something - might be a throw of the dice when we are chasing a game maybe?

    Barnsley 4 - 0 Swansea

Two things First the season for these teams lower down the pyramid start a week earlier than the Championship. They are therefore ALL a week ahead of us in the preparations - not strange or made up - a fact! Second - we are not talking about how many of our uns=der 23 team play in the first XI...

    Barnsley 4 - 0 Swansea

It proves no such thing. If it proves anything it is that the XI we put out today (demotivated pros and youngsters) were not a match for the XI that Barnsley put out. Within that bigger picture there are likely to be players that impressed or advanced their general standing. With Fisher in goal...

Not from what we saw last night. He played more advanced and we were slow to get the balll forward from the CB and DM area

Swansea City and Joma launch 2025-26 away kit

Personally I am thrilled - I have spent the last 3 months hoping and dreaming for a a fig-dominated jacquard

    Squard Depth - No Bianchini?

It is comforting to see that we are a couple of players short BEFORE we start to look at the loan market. This should allow us to focus on 1 or 2 high quality youngsters who are difference makers. in past years we have been trying tom speculate on cheaper loanees and hope to get lucky.

    Summer Transfer Window

Here is my gut feeling - we were correct not to sell the farm to get LOB. However, his biggest impact was that he inserted tempo into our play at a time when we were lacking any impetus. Watching Galbraith - he looks neat and tidy, and technically great..BUT who is going to set the tempo for us...

    Summer Transfer Window

IMO there are several players with full England caps to their names who were "a poor man's Leon". A travesty he never got to play foir England.
