    As others have mentioned, Sheehan made good use of Fulton in our run of form last season so not a massive shock to see him start again as a defensive shield today, especially given Cabango's lack of pre-season minutes.

    It's probably a situation that's been made worse by downgrading Academy status. The quality of opposition the youth teams face has dropped. I mean, the MG cup is all well and good, but are they really testing themselves against the likes of Afan Lido?

    Wilson is 21 in December. He should have at least one, preferably two full seasons out on loan under his belt by now. We keep these players trapped in the youth setup for far too long. It delays and I think damages their development. There's no substitute for proper, competitive football.

    From a Jack to a King and back again? It's a little bit "bandwagon" for me. I think there are ways to use the links to generate income that don't necessarily require just copying the Wrexham model (loved the idea of a Swans/Snoop beer tie in) but it can't hurt much in the short term.

    Happens to us all sometimes. Vip scored seven goals in I believe 23 starts. Almost one in three. Considering that Luke Williams had no idea what to do with him or any of our other attacking players for 6/7 months of the season that's not a bad return IMO. I don't think he's a fabulous striker...

    We seem to be loading up on midfielders and wingers, which might indicate the type of football we're aiming to play. High press, high energy. The kind of style that requires fresh legs to be able to rotate the side regularly. They'll all get plenty of games IMO.

    I have never been as cold regarding a Swans game as I have walking down the Bayswater Road on the way to that final, and I can remember an Autoglass/JPT/Whatever match against Walsall that saw me banging my feet against the floor to get some sort of feeling into them when it went to extra time.
