Its quite apt really. The cult of the Sherrif was born in the Hartson thread, when the Sherrif insisted that he could see value in players(35?yr old Hartson for instance) that we couldnt. Now,evidently, he picks our players. Well played sir.

I no longer have a sign in. I was just curious. Im not going to stalk the guy. If it is him, good luck to him. I sometimes saw some value in his arguments. It was his inabilty to do any self-reflelection, or concede any kind of intellectual territory, that had the potential to start fires. Of...

FA Cup Final: Palace - Man City

Tell those Palace fans the FA Cup means nothing. Beautiful to see so many folks in tears. Used to watch Palace when I lived in Tooting. Splendid.

Seems we are returing to the way things were before the PL. Im not sure thats a bad thing. The whole reason I joined JA.net was because it was the week before THE Hull game and I wanted to be among my fellow Jacks. It seems strange to me that the community ended up so fractured and at odds. We...

    Play-offs

Coach and Horses is my all time favorite away venue.(The Griffin a close 2nd) Had some absolute top times there. The 2-2 when Mumford scored atthe end is the highlight. (Feb 2002?) A load of Dutch/Belgians were there and all the guys who had just bought the club(MM,HJ,LD etc). It was the start...

    Flies

They are all over the Gorse bushes of Gower. I walked down Pobbles on Tuesday and they were EVERYWHERE. The air was thick with them as the Gorse is flowering bright yellow right now. It attracts the flies intensely. I have loaded up with Fly armageddon equipment from B&Q and the Range this...

    Civil Service Progression

PC Harringtons were who finished me off. It was so brutal working for them on St Davids 2 in Cardiff.(1000 +m3 concrete pours) That was my last company. They were fking savages.

    Civil Service Progression

The only reason I didnt go back into construction 8 years ago was that I never applied for my managers CSCS card back in 2003 when 1st passed the test so I couldnt get accredited as there was such a gap.
