We went on a gaood run from the end of October IIRC, starting with draws and grinding out results but I think Wigan, Fulham and Preston were the three that were too far ahead to catch. It was John Frayne BTW.

Posters are rusty and preseason threads are not a gauge of future poster performance. When we play Middlesbrough the calibre of poster and the quality of threads will be much improved after a bit of practice.

I tend to agree In principal. Our problem has not been that we have a small squad but that we don’t have enough quality cover. We’ve had too many players in reality, need to thin it out and add four or five who will challenge to play regularly.

No often you get three disallowed, we’ve had games where we’ve had less attempts.

New signings all looked a step up in quality. Youngsters unfortunately added nothing, not even pace or excitement, desperately disappointed for them. Pretty rubbish game really, even for a meaningless kick about.

This not a pisstake but 3.5M is probably a very fair and possibly generous offer if the club owes Tan money. I know he converted debt to equity but he still has a hefty chunk of change to pull out, and add that to all the other debts the new owners will be buying, in reality it’s a good offer...
