You are right, Forest showed a bit of complacency and should have easily buried us with some big sitters missed for 3-1. You could see the huge gulf in class between premier league and championship, but credit for the comeback and not giving in. I was critical of Franco's role in midfield...

    S25/26 | Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Nottingham Forest 2 | Att: 11,354 | The Carabao Cup 3rd Round

Some nice stuff without real hurting the opposition, still a little concerned with patterns of play, some big gaps with no players there and too many times players don't have options to pass to and the ball goes backwards. I still feel like Forest are playing in 1st gear and can turn it on at...

Which Player Goes For Biggest Fee?

The last 4 seasons have been hard to endure and It's been so bad that I have lost the love of the sport. I basically only watch Swans games now and maybe the Sunday 4:30 game. Darts has taken over football in my household now, my kids have completely lost interest with the Swans that's how much...

Running off your mouth these days is going to cost your pennies, so he needs to weigh up the loss of income for being controversial.

Which Player Goes For Biggest Fee?

Inoussa for me at the moment, the only game changer in the team that can beat a man one on one then closely followed by Galbraith. Idah, Widell, Wales and Stamenic need to see more of. With Vipotnik , Ronald and Franco I would start the car if we got £3/4 million for these and EOM I would...

The Sheff Weds match was like walking football, no tempo to the game and plus they are nailed on for bottom of the league. Hull would still have attacked at will whoever we had on the pitch because our mindset changed to hanging on to the lead after we scored. Hull were unluckly not score 4 or 5.

    Starmer

I never voted in the last election and looks like I won't be voting in the next one. I hate all the main three parties for one reason or another. I feel like we are moving in the direction similar to the film idiocracy(2006).

I personally don't think the football is infinitely better than the last 5-6 years, I still find us a boring watch. But I am a middle age person that probably values entertainment over results now. Yesterday I sat in my chair wishing I was at home because nothing happened until the first goal...

    Alan Sheehan.

We've had enough games under Sheehan now to know what we are going to get. There isn't going to be any overnight transformation. I hate comparing to the past, but you could see pretty much straight away the playing styles of Martinez/Rodgers and Laudrup and the buzz they generated. I can't help...

There is definitely no buzz, the crowd's silence for long periods of the game today is a good indicator. I took my kids today and I can see they were bored, the first goal really took me by surprise because nothing was happening until that point. I think Sheehan will do a steady job and that's...

S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 2 Hull City 2 | Att: 15,152 | The EFL Championship

My top 3 points of today's game 1) Our play is far too slow for home matches, I wish we would go for the kill from the first minute instead of sparring with the opposition with nothing happening. 2) Send EOM a one way ticket home(one of the worst attacking footballers I have seen at the club at...

Bringing Back the Crowds - Backing The Intentions Of The Club Owners

Our general fan base I would say are cash poor, so the entertainment needs to be worth it to justify the cost of going and unfortunately even this season we are a boring watch. Hopefully that will change when Mr Sheehan has a settled team with the new signings, but I fear he is too pragmatic...

    POLL: where will we finish?

I personally think we are match for those sides mentioned above and more after our transfer window and I will be disappointed if we don't make the play offs. The teams that went down this year are weaker than the teams that went up. This year is very hard to predict and I feel we are a lot...

Rebuild, Not Roulette: Swansea’s Summer of Intent

The fanbase can't complain this time, even if we don't get the desired results. Everything looks good on paper, first eleven looking strong with actual real depth to the bench. Hopefully Mr Sheehan can conduct the orchestra.

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

VIP will do well if you create space for him and he has bit of time, but with tighter and better defending teams he will struggle, he is not mobile enough. But I still expect him score around 15+ goals this season if he played every game. He's the closest thing we have to Ntcham from shooting...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Sheffield Wed 0 Swansea City 2 | Att: 19,740 | 3pm, 30/08 | The EFL Championship | Hillsborough Stadium

I feel like I need to fast forward 3x to get up to the same speed of a premier league game. Sheehan is not any better than Luke Williams for entertainment.

    New 3rd away shirt…

Check your sleeves folks, just got the top out from the wardrobe and one sleeve is about two inches shorter in width. This looks like an error.

    New 3rd away shirt…

Someone on reddit has complained that one sleeve looks two inches shorter than the other sleeve with the new third kit, so I went to look at a photo of son wearing the new third kit and one sleeve does look shorter. Is this by design or design flaw.

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

Idah is not a wow signing, but better than what we have got. What a little I can remember of him at Norwich he is quite physical with a bit of pace, he can be handful on his day.
