Shambles with tickets really. Opened up the whole ground expecting it to be close to full, and appear to have sold maybe 4,000? No idea what they do from here to stop it looking embarassingly empty on TV, but good luck

    Ricky Hatton RIP

Was a young lad when Hatton was in his pomp, but him and Calzaghe were the first British boxers I remember being box-office in the UK. Such a shame how his later career and personal life has gone

Haven't seen anyone mention it, but thought Yalcouye was excellent yesterday. Don't think he'll end the season with tons of goals or assists, but his balance and quick turns on the ball are utterly outrageous

Threw that away completely, see above for better comments on that. I try very hard to not make silly, absolutist comments, but I genuinely think Vigoroux is the best goalkeeper in this league.

Splitting hairs over a fairly irrelevant point, but no way are Hull the most unattractive fixture in the league. Hull are at least a bit mad, quite attacking (and open) and have some fairly big name players; teams like Preston, Charlton, and Oxford don't even have that.

    Montague

Poached by Brentford is the current word on the street; oddly trust the owners/board to select a good replacement, but shame to see him leave after what looked like a positive window

It's the usual scanners at the CCFC for what it's worth. I also debated an 18-23 ticket, if that's your plan ;)

Just saw Kukha scored a hat trick for Slovan in their last game. Maybe he's going to be our WOW signing in January

    Galbraith

It's flippant, but I mentioned over the Summer that Not The Top 20 Podcast were amazed we got Galbraith over the top Champ sides and some lower Premier League teams. Even then, they were classing him as potentially good enough for the Premier League already, and I don't think that's far from the...

    POLL: where will we finish?

I've gone top half, outside of play offs. I think our squad is comfortably good enough for play offs, but Sheehan has to be classed as a a bit of an unknown still. If he's the real deal, top six.

Vital reporting that Swans are waiting to hear from the FA on whether or not the Benson deal was completed in time. Looks like all blame would be on Burnley if it falls through

This is a bit of a worry, Tymon would be our only senior left back otherwise

Imagine they'd let him go for pretty much nothing, but the wages would be higher than we'd want to pay for a 4th/5th choice centre-half

Better than I expected. Had a quick look on Reddit, as that's where I'd seen most of the Hull critics, and seems like he had a woeful start to the season in terms of effort and performance, and then tuned in a bit from January on
