Madley was giving a penalty, until he saw the offside flag

Oh dear, Madley books Widdell for exactly the same type of challenge that took out Yalcouye in the 1st half

lots of Forest pressure lately, they should have put this to bed, hopefully this is a good omen and we grab a late one

One save does not make a keeper, it's not dislike he's just not a very good keeper.

He's not way off it, he's just putting in a typical Josh Key performance.

    S25/26 | Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Nottingham Forest 2 | Att: 11,354 | The Carabao Cup 3rd Round

Burgess out of position and Caey covering didn't help Key but there is no reason to run past the post and out of the pitch and Fisher poor again, scrambling across his goal and unable to set himself again. Do we deserve to be 2 down, maybe not but they have been much more clinical and we have a...

    S25/26 | Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Nottingham Forest 2 | Att: 11,354 | The Carabao Cup 3rd Round

Key & Fisher are by far the weakest players in the team tonight and sadly were both found wanting for that goal.

Well he is less biased than the other fella, but you can't really complement the defendng for the goal and how did Fisher let him score from that angle !!

Decent enough start by the Swans, yet both commentators have spent the whole game waxing lyrical about Nott Forest.

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

He isn't a talented player, he was a talented player and has not been so for years. There is a lot more to being a footballer than just the physical capabilities, mental capabilities are really important, moreover in the high the level you play at. And sadly for many reasons, he does not...

Maybe he's just saying that so any prospective suitors think his injury woes are fully behind him or maybe he just wasn't all that !!

I hope so, because I'm not convinced he's a striker who bangs them in for fun

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

Would Delcroix be 4th/5th choice? If he's had a good pre-season and is fit then he would be pushing for a start/provides flexibility for a back 3 option and offers LB cover also

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

Yes they were, however none of the above were the complete package, in fact none of them were anywhere near. I'm not thinking we will sign the complete package, but this time the money mentioned is higher and therefore we have to hope the player signed brings more to the table. The rumours are...

    The Summer Transfer Window Thread

If spending on a multi million pound striker brings better movement, better finshing, more physicality and the ability to hold up the ball and bring others into play (or create space for them), then yes they and the team will fare better.

Swansea City will play Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup Third Round

Just heard about the draw and how they are keeping teams playing in Europe apart. Don't like this, feels like a ruse to introduce some seeding, this is a cup competition and it should be a straightforward draw.

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea 3 Crawley 1 | Att: 5,095 | The EFL Carabao Cup | 7pm, Tuesday 12th August 2025 | The Swansea.com Stadium

Little bit of prospective needed, Crawley are lower L2 level and that showed last night. However there were positives. Parker had a decent game at RB and is for me as good if not better than Key. He needs regular game time to ensure his development (and not on loan elsewhere). Galbraith looked...
