Domestic games to be played abroad

I can just picture us getting promoted again and getting Man Utd at home on opening day, only to find out it's being played in Beijing or something..

    Widell

I think there's certainly some understandable frustration that - of all the new players brought in to midfield - the one that appeared to fit the biggest need in midfield is the only one who hasn't been integrated into the team so far. There may well be very good reasons why that hasn't happened...

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

I caught some of it. Have to admit I wasn't really following what was going on, but it looked like jaxs rumbled the real identity of 'Curtis' and had some fun with it☠️

    NFL 2025

That was the other game I watched yesterday. Diggs was certainly on a mission. Maye was impressive. That scramble play where he had a Bills players hanging on his back and still got the ball to Diggs for 1st down on the sideline was hero stuff.

    NFL 2025

Titans get their first win of the season in crazy style 22-21 with a walk off field goal. What the hell did I just watch. Cardinals scored TDs on their first 3 drives, they were stomping all over us (it would have seemed insanity for anyone to suggest they would not score another point). Titans...

First thing the police car did after he got in it was go backwards.

    Russell Martin

According to the beeb site, the Falkirk fans were signing 'There's only one Russel Martin' after they equalized

Need's updating to include: We dominated the ball / Players need to be braver / Trust the process.

    Another gutless performance

The last 2 have been evident going back a few managers and drive everyone insane. I think there's a part of it that's not just an 'us' problem, but modern football in general. Crossing and dribbling have gone out of fashion a lot as it's considered too risky and wasteful. Stat-driven...

    Stamenic

I can certainly see why he's taking some stick, but I'm still in the 'Stamenic is not the problem' camp, at least for now. Mixed bag, but generally positive for me, and it's still early days. I don't think we have anyone else with the positional solidity to play that role. Galbraith, Franco...

    Alan Sheehan.

I think some are misrepresenting comments in defense of the team right now as fangirling over Sheehan when it’s really a defense of patience and staying calm until the season develops fully before getting the toys out of the pram. There’s been a lot of drama queenery after today’s game that I...

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

So judging by the 3-3-3 record being thrown around with so much enthusiasm by some this evening as an absolute damning FACT to bash Sheehan with, Sheehan is officially exactly as good a manager as Roberto Martinez (who had a side including Scotland, Bodde, Britton, Dyer, Rangel et al.) Glad we...

Alan Sheehan on Leicester City | Reaction

At some point, if results take a consistent downward spiral, you get the feeling that Sheehan having Death Row prominently displayed on his hoodie is going to generate some memes/wisecracks😅

Sam Parker was the great hope a couple of years ago, then he got injured and never really got back in. It was Sheehan who brought him into the team initially during his first caretaker spell if I remember correctly; maybe he’ll give him another go. Benson is clearly a much better player than...

Good lord I hope not! I was talking about the right side of the team on the whole. On the left we have Tymon, the Chelsea lad, Eom and Inoussa. On the right it’s Key, Ronald’oh and a completely ineffective (so far) Benson.

I don’t think Key has been as bad as people are making out, but we certainly need competition there so we can try other things. The right hand side is pretty rough, with no competition for Key* and Benson looking rough as hell so far.. *Galbraith of course, but that would weaken the midfield.

Eom in for Inoussa was the right call. Sheehan mentioned in the week that Inoussa was top of the list of new players who were feeling the effect of championship physicality/intensity levels. The way he played when he came on made me glad he didn’t start…

I actually don't feel down after that. There was a lot to like in that performance, and plenty to work on of course (being in possession of the ball on the edge of the oppo box and the ball ending up back with a centre-half being one of them..) We've got a decent squad, ambitious owners and...
