Very depressing. We should be two or three down, and I can't see Saints continuing to miss sitters like this. We created zilch, not one real chance and look totally clueless going forward. My confidence in Sheehan is ebbing fast. He's got to give this team shape, motivation, confidence, and if...

I'd rather see Yalcoule start than Stamenic or Franco. I can see him and/or Brighton getting pissed off that he's not getting starts. I appreciate Sheehan's difficulty though, all four have a good claim to be in the team and we've only got three midfield places.

Lovely swing. Imagine he has a metal rod going right down his spine and into the ground behind him, notice how his body swivels on it as he executes the shot, and doesn't sway at all? Sign of an excellent swing, a bit like mine of a few years ago

Wore Both Colours: Nathan Dyer, the Swans Flyer Who Helped the Foxes Soar

Although a Premier League Champions medal is nice to have in your trophy cabinet, if memory serves, apart from scoring one last minute winning goal, he was getting splinters in his arse for most of the campaign. I think his long and distinguished Swans career just shades it in terms of being rated.

I hate the modern interpretation of handball. We should go back to, was it deliberate or not? No way was that deliberate, there wasn't enough time for Ampadu to think 'I'm going to stop that with my hand'. It was blasted at him from two yards, he knew nothing about it.

We're being destroyed down our left flank. Hate to say it but our best bet might be to get Moore on and pump crosses in.

A shyte corner from Thomas followed by him being too slow to track back and mark.

    I miss this era, immensely.

Thanks mate, hasn't been too bad where I am. One more storm forecast for tonight, then should be back to sunshine.

I know what you mean, We were a bit special, weren't we? Don't think I'll see anything like that again in my lifetime, just grateful to have seen it once.

Things that annoy you more than they should

Stayed in a fairly expensive pub hotel in middle of Shrewsbury last friday prior to a family wedding. The wardrobe had those flimsy, bendy, cheap plastic coathangers, so when you hang your suit up, you find it on the floor in the morning. If you're afraid of getting good quality coathangers...

There are eight FA Cup winners in that list. Can you name them? No Googling, mind.

So, has the heating gone on yet?

I was there Sunday to Wednesday this week staying with a mate. I can recommend the Volunteer pub at 21 Harold Street for a cracking roast Sunday lunch, £17 for pork, £18 for beef, dessert for £2 more, great beers too. About 20 minutes walk from the centre.

I think everyone has them here, including us ex pat residents. They are not an issue, in fact I can't remember them ever coming up in conversation or ever seeing one owned by a Spaniard. The only time I think of mine is when I travel abroad, then I show it at passport control to prove my...
