From Liberty to Injustice; the solution to the Championship’s referee woes?

Agree with most of that but it’s impossible to compare the implementation in different sports. Rugby is naturally much more stop start and as such supporters are more comfortable with 5 minute delays in order to get the ‘correct decision’ numerous times in a game. It also has the advantage...

    Cardiff or Wrexham ?

I’m amazed too. Even if you put the rivalry to one side, Cardiff being promoted directly impacts us as a club in terms of: 1. Recruitment from the academy through to the first team 2. Sponsorship opportunities 3. Growing the fan base The longer they are in a league below us the more the gap...

Alan Sheehan on Millwall | Press Conference

I feel a bit for the journalists as they’re clearly told by their bosses what type of questions to ask in the hope of click bait headlines, but it’s ridiculous that the BBC are more interested in asking questions about wages/rumours etc as opposed to tactics and actual football questions!

    Adam Idah 40k a week.

I think the slight difference is that both of those were nailed on to start (and usually play 90 every game). If Vipotnik & Idah get 25 between them this season I’d be very happy. We do need others (Ronald aside) to start chipping in sooner rather than later as well though

    The Ashes 2025/26

Not so sure. The Aussie top 3 is fragile and as good as the pace attack has been they’re not getting any younger. Can see it being 2-2 or 3-2 either way.

    The Ashes 2025/26

Got to go all out (which they will) in the 1st two tests - especially with a gap between them. Injuries dependent the best opportunity for a positive result out in Australia for 15 years 🤞

Just cover for me. If there’s any chance of picking up Casey (relatively cheaply) next summer, then I’d rather he be in the squad based on what I’ve seen so far.

    Cardiff or Wrexham ?

Wrexham can win the Premier league and Champions league for all I care. The other lot….

    Sack Race

Probably just the unusual back story I guess. Like with Martin it’d be a good effort to NOT get their squad into the top 6 - if they’re mid table at Xmas he’ll be gone I reckon

    Sack Race

In Southampton’s case they ran out of academy products and in Wolves’ there’s only so many unknown Portuguese players you can sign!!

    Adam Idah 40k a week.

Strange how it turned out for the 3 Scots signed around the same time. Keith Walker signed as a centre midfielder, turns into one of our best lower league defenders and gets a testimonial after 10 years service. John Hughes signed as a striker. Didn’t play much, went back to Scotland and...

Singing ‘Where’s your Andy Cole’ before Paul Kitson scored a hat trick wasn’t the best idea that day!

And now Oxford beating Bristol City (although they’ve started better than I thought) away from home. Crazy start to the season. Football, eh!

    World athletics championships

I thought that as well. Looking back to 2009 they’ve pretty consistently picked up around 7 medals (which was lower than I expected) but 3 golds, so 0 is obviously a big disappointment this time Be interesting to see what the BBC & TNT viewing figures were. I’ve enjoyed watching the...

Fingers crossed it will be (as long as we're at the top end!!) The bottom of the PL looks like it could be a bit more interesting too - be good news for both leagues if a couple of the promoted sides stay up.

Swansea City 🦢 v Norwich 🐥
