    Luka Modric new minority owner?

Imagine - just for a minute, that his contract actually finishes at Madrid and he starts focussing on life but registers as a Swansea player just so the Fans could buy a Swans shirt with Modric on the back. That would be funny. Personally, I have no idea what his investment is but the amount he...

    ATM charges in Spain

The Chase card was great because you got the actual exchange rate when you chose no conversion but with the ATM charging it makes a huge difference so I will get a Wise Card and see how that goes with ATM charges.

    ATM charges in Spain

Thanks for this info. We take out a lot more than that out of the cashpoint to pay our Spanish "friends" in cash for our accommodation, taps nose, so would reach that max quite quickly.

    ATM charges in Spain

We avoid the currency fees with Chase and Halifax travel but the cashpoint charged 5.5 for a withdrawal and santander wanted 7. BancoMarche did not charge for using the ATM so we were surprised and looking for alternative ATM's that don't charge for using them.

    ATM charges in Spain

Anyone familiar with ATM charges for "brit" cards at banks/ATM's in Spain? We have always used BancoMarch to take money our with our no exchange rate charge and also no fee but a couple of weeks ago we used BancoMarch and there was a 5.50 charge even if you withdrew only 30 euros. Tried a few...

and that is what I detest about the system. Many of plebs are unwittingly reliant on pension fund investors to see out our years yet we suffer when events, like the above, murder the market while some still manage to get even wealthier. It is a big case of you have to be in it to win it.

It has been a bumpy ride since the It has been a bumpy ride since the tech crash in 2001. There was some decent growth in the few years up to 2013 but it has been a car crash since. My Allianz thing was still worth 10% less than its 2013 figure two weeks ago. I can't even look at what it is...

I agree with much of what you have said. Reversing the decline in manufacturing in the UK is a complex issue with no simple solution. I think that there would have been a natural shift to a service sector in the UK and that manufacturing jobs would have disappeared in this structural shift. I...

She was way behind in the polls before the Argentinian invasion and was quoted as being the least popular prime minister in history.
