    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

But its difficult to see exactly what system Vipotnik would fit into. He's not good at challenging defenders so he's never going to be a lump ball Kieffer Moore type. He can't really run in behind like an Obafemi type and he can't press like Cullen. I can't really see a situation where he plays...

    Žan Vipotnik - Swansea’s Number 9

Looked sluggish and slow last season (footballing mentality and physically) but he did show glimpses of being a good finisher and hold up target man. With a season under his belt and a pre-season hopefully doing some work alongside a striker coach i was hoping we'd see continuous improvement...

They'll easily be top 6. There are a lot of swans fans predicting them to be a lot lower but that's heart over head, which ironically we accuse them of doing a lot.

I'd like to think that too, but the Colwills, Davies, Ashford, Lawford, Kpakio will have a season regular senior football under their belts by then. They were paying 5mill for players last season in the Championship so if they strengthen around those youngsters they could definitely stay up.

Unfortunately if you look at their bench tonight, they have plenty of experience and senior players to come in if their youngsters start waning. I hope im wrong but unless they lose a few before the window shuts, I'd stand by my prediction that they'll comfortably be top 3/4 this season.

    Promotion This Season ?

    No, absolutely not.

    Cullen v Sheff Utd

The Magonit line proved to be futile. Cullen against Sheffield United was not, he didn't give them any time.

    Today's attendance

Again, that's a lazy excuse, it's obvious for all to see that these owners are completely different to the previous.

    Today's attendance

These excuses are not exclusive to us. It's holiday season for every other club and money is tight everywhere. We have owners who are sanctioning spending, we have a side capable of competing - get down the swan.com and support the team.

    Cullen v Sheff Utd

Can you imagine if Vipotnik had played up front yesterday though? We'd have got overrun. Cullen didn't score or have any chances, but in a tight game against a play off side he is the first line of defence

I can see a Guidolin situation developing.....

    Kyrell Wilson

Yes actually. We bombed out first round at Baglan last season and Cardiff lost to Cambrian this season. Also the strength obviously increases the later the tournament goes. TNS soundly beat us in the final 2 years ago. Merthyr soundly beat our u21s this summer. The opportunity to play...

Yup, within a few years it could then be self sufficient

    Owners update

Seeing as we have very wealthy ownership and the trust cannot really be diluted much further (not that it matters much anymore), our owners could fund the cat 1 costs between them (drop in the ocean to them) and I'm sure it would be a success, especially if the youth scouting is good and we can...

Dabrowski, Wilson and Ginnelly playing for the u21s so obviously haven't travelled. Tymon will be the only left back in the squad then?

Financially, it should be good. For us fans though, my god this will be cringeworthy to watch.
