Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Preston North End | The EFL Championship

There is a fine line, id rather win football games the boring way then going gung-ho. Look at leeds already this season, scrapped alast minute draw at home to a promoted team and then got smashed 3-0 at home to a boro team that we were moaning and groaning about a narrow loss away. Fine margins...

Am i missing something? We haven't played a league game this season yet to say the word "constantly"

Huge month ahead for Swans - worrying times from the fan perspective

I have brain wash surgery at the end of each season in that hope that one year the fans will have a half full approach 😅

Huge month ahead for Swans - worrying times from the fan perspective

You got laugh at this thread, topic gets created 2 weeks before start of season and 5 weeks till transfer deadline...and lo and behold 2 days later we sign an international striker. Literally zero patience from majority of fans 🙈

Huge month ahead for Swans - worrying times from the fan perspective

Not worried in the slightest currently, as mentioned by others id take quality over quantity and clearly we have learnt from last year when it was the exact opposite. 3 permanent signings in with 2 of them potentially becoming good assets to the club. Acouple more permanent signing (especially a...

Swansea City striker Yates set to join Derby County on loan

Jeez the transfer window has barely opened and your already having a pop 🤦‍♂️

A reflection on the season-Duff and Williams.

Realism is also realising that this club has been punching well above its weight for many years and a mid table championship is about our level 🤷‍♂️ What does it gain to go into a new season with a glass half full out look instead of the opposite?

A reflection on the season-Duff and Williams.

I dont buy this "we are screwed" next season feeling 🤷‍♂️ the clubs coming down wont be as tough as las year for starters. Add in a settled pre season (not changing manager) hopefully a settled back 4 (probably the best we have had for a number of years) and thats a good foundation for success...

    Work in the summer

Well we know the reason why humpreys/ashby were bought in as we were playing 5 at the back and duff wanted 2 players in each position. No one was complaining when they were bought in as they were seen by many as promising players with bright futures. Not sure blame can be laid at anyones door there.

I cant agree with that at all, every match he is the go to player that everyone uses to get us out of a tricky area of the pitch. The fact that most opposition managers put a player on him solely to man mark says all you need to know. It worries me that fans actually think we can find someone of...

You could say "over time" that during our stay in the championship we are a playoff team, its all in the wording. Last year 10th 3 points off the playoff and since then we have had 3 managers and still manage mid table. Glass half full/glass half empty, its all in the way people look at it...

Werent we top half last season 🤔 As mentioned in the original post its clear and obvious what is required. One major positive since luke has come in is that he identified that 5 at the back didnt work and by the end of the season we finally have our best back 4 playing. Clean sheets lay the...

Let's see what you are made of - your chance to prove talk isn't cheap

First time this season in my opinion that we have had our first choice back 4 and low and behold a clean sheet. In a poor season i do carry hope that this very young back 4 can become an exicting base to work on from.

    Who stays who goes?

Abit harsh on Darling, probably the only player id say who has enhanced his reputation from last season. Id make him captain aswel.

    Remaining 7 games

Baffling post if you ask me. Since our matches against the big guns in January our away record is played 5 won 2, drawn 2, lost 1.....i mean jeez talk about being hard to please. Add in to the fact that are home form is starting to turn (3 on the bounce) then this just feels like another knee...

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Sunderland FC v Swansea City | The EFL Championship

You have to be the negative and out of touch person ive seen on the site since rejoining. Every statement you make backfires, latest one "ronald has no end product" then 10mins later has 2 goals 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♂️

Season 23/24 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City vs Ipswich Town | The EFL Championship

Wood and cabango havent always been crap defenders, yes there has always been an error in them but both being relatively young confidence is huge. You could argue that our back 5 (including keeper) this year is stronger than last year and that team were only 3 points off the playoffs. Goals win...

Darling crap behave, when played in his correct position hes been one of the rare bright spots in this disappointing season. The agenda of some on here is ridiculous
