So what you're confirming is that despite a perfect game, there will still be reasons to abuse the referee. So increased competency makes little difference to the overall problem, does it? Because competency of a referee has no impact on the emotional regulation of the individual in the stands...

So you're telling me that if a referee has a perfect game in a 1-0 scoreline (example), then they would recieve no abuse at all from any spectators?
