That’s a fair point. The 21 year sentence is in my opinion decent, but as you say with tariffs reductions etc he’ll like.y end up serving much less.

The Attorney General has received requests for the sentenced to be reviewed on the basis it’s too lenient. Got to say I’m a bit surprised by that, the 21 year sentence was longer than I thought he’d get...

Apparently Craig Bellamy who has fast tracked Lawlor in to the Welsh set up was at a football forum event a few weeks ago and he was of the view Lawlor will be at a Premier League club by next summer. Remains to be seen if that’s the case, but Bellamy rates him.

I think Grimes is a very good player, a much better player than we often saw down in SA1. I think he played the way managers wanted him to and the players around him weren’t as good as the players he’s playing with now. Like others on here I’m surprised at the length of the sentence, I thought between 12 and 15. I wasn’t aware of his previous convictions albeit they were historic. Sounds like the guy was a ticking time bomb.

I’ll always associate this song with the Radio 1 Roadshow. They had a quiz on it called Bits and Pieces and this time was always played at the start of it. Spent many years listening to Radio 1 back in the day, but I can’t bear it now - or radio 2 for that matter.
