    Cravatt and Cohen update

God knows why these celebs are all jumping on the bandwagon. A tax dodge doesn’t make sense. Wouldn’t they have to incur larger losses than any offset savings they’d make? Maybe it’s just a trend for these sorts of people. I wish they’d fack off; I hate the circus they bring to our great game.

Yeah, it doesn’t matter how tidy we look between the boxes. Games aren’t won or lost there. And unless you’re solid as a rock (e.g. Burnley last year), you have to be able to score freely to challenge at the top. We’ve got a platform to build on, so that’s something at least.

I’m not watching today, but it sounds like the same old. We need some better players at the top end of the pitch. It’s a shame it sounds like we’re not actively looking to address that this window.

Being ‘creative’ with the accounts doesn’t seem to have hurt Msn City. It’s probably worth a try lol

We def need more imo. More quality is needed. But even if we hope Matos can improve current players, we’ve only got Casey to cover the centre backs and also only another kid on loan to cover LB. No RB cover, as you say. No RW cover if we’re not using Benson. We can’t even give most of our...

Why Swansea City’s Director of Football Move Is the Turning Point the Club Desperately Needs

Great post. The summer transfer window proves your point perfectly; a lot of people getting really excited just because we actually spent some serious money on a few players for once ( ~£7m), Inoussa (c. £5m) and Widell (c. £4m in the Jan before). All could be very good for us eventually, but...

2nd attempt. He’s got a touch of the Rik Mayall/Alan B’stard about him 🤣. But what a signing. Seriously quality and a joy to watch.

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

It’s embarrassing isn’t it. He does get caught a lot, but doesn’t help himself at all either. He’s very lightweight.

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

I don’t understand it. The Welsh flags obviously make sense, but I can’t remember the last time The Unionists qualified for an international tournament. It seems like an unnecessary load of political bollocks to me.

McClean kicking Ronald in the back of the head

Exactly this. Pre-match: “we’re Swansea til we die” 25 mins: “fk off Ronal you c****” 36 mins: clear off to get more beers in 60 mins: “boooo” when Burgess gets the ball Vip scores: “we’re Swansea til we die” I’m sure we didn’t used to have such precious little flowers. It’s like watching...

    Kim Hellberg

I’m not sure “clamouring” is accurate. Given our very good back end to last season he’d done enough to earn a shot and I think most of us acknowledged that. In hindsight that shouldn’t have happened. But then who knows how anyone else would have got on.

    Harry Wilson.

He always used to remind me of a rat. But l fair play to him, he’s turned into an excellent footballer of the last 2-3 years. He must be the best Welsh national player now?

Agreed 👍 . If we’ve a fairly settled team, we can carry a younger player. We should be giving them chances and Samuel-Smith has looked ready. The trouble is we’re already carrying a few senior players, so the youngsters then become a bigger risk. I don’t think any of our players are...

Very fine margins. We had the chances to go into the break ahead. On another day there’s also a chance Pearson has to walk before he scores their first (but arguable)

I don’t see Franco doing the disciplined holding role. He’s like a Jack Russell running off all over the place snapping at people heels. Maybe though if he can stay put.

Absolutely, they’re not robots and will suffer the same as the rest of us irrespective of how much they earn.

Stamenic needs to be in a midfield of Yalcouye and Widell imo. I think it’s one of Yalcouye or Franco.

Eom shows moments although also slows us down (had Eom been still on the pitch he wouldn’t have put in a brilliant first time ball to Vip for our gaol). Ronald, Cullen and Key aren’t up to it imo. Cullen would be ok in a 442 next to a Kieffer Moore type. Otherwise I stuggle to see where he can...

Yeah, ref should have added on the injury time from Tymon. I suppose the only defence of Key is that he’s been ill, so may not really be match ready (he certainly didn’t look match fit!)
