Evidence suggests a far more right wing bias in recent years. Why are Reform given more platform than the Lib Dems who have far more MPs? The governance of the BBC was effectively made pro-tory over the last decade. ITV news is pretty neutral. Channel 4 will have a go at whoever is in charge...

Latest information suggest a royal mess up by the agency. If you pay professionals then you would expect they have some idea. If anyone who is not a landlord or agent in Southwark suggests they knew a licence was needed then they are almost certainly lying. Perhaps the more pertinent question...

If she was Housing Minister then you would have a point.

As she let through agents they are as culpable in poor advice. It's about the same level as speeding to be frank. Absolute stitch up by the greedy billionaires who may have to pay more tax.

    Truro Town

I think the beaches of Pembrokeshire, Ynys Mon and the Lleyn are nicer. But the towns in Cornwall have more about them. More good places to eat, better shops and more to see. We had a truly exceptional lunch in St Ives on Saturday.

Was on the North Side this weekend-nice couple of days in a cabin near Portreath. Got the train into St Ives from St Erth and a very pleasant day on Saturday.

    Cardiff Council SUV surcharge

As we are in a new build we ended up tied into British Gas-although we have changed to the same 7p per kWh rate for off peak. Having solar panels also makes a decent dent in the electricity bill.

    Cardiff Council SUV surcharge

I think I would get anxious taking it too far- realistic range is 160 miles on a charge but as long as access to top up it would be fine. Very smooth and comfortable- but not as much fun as our Mini Cooper!

Travel to the good ol USA

Been for work (New Hampshire) and pleasure (Orlando) in recent months. Orlando seemed much quieter to me (at least at Universal) than previous visits. Certainly the better exchange rate (1.35 v 1.20) compensated for higher prices. There were several no-shows at the conference I was at in NH (GRC...

Was listening to "across the rooftops" earlier. Whilst I typically like pretty alternative stuff, it's such a beautiful record. There's an alternate universe where 'Tinseltown in the Rain' was number one for weeks.

There's a lot to the SUV status symbol. Who needs a 'Chelsea Tractor' for the school run and shopping? We bought an EV last week. Hyundai Inster-small four seat mini-SUV style that's more than adequate for the that job or my 15min run to work and son's 30 mins to University. It replaced a small...

Lots of challenges with safe hydrogen for road vehicles. Worked pretty well for Saturn V rockets and easily generated, but logistical challenges abound. Probably the easiest solution would be small local plants that are a direct source of fuel. Could see this for HGVs, but convenience of home...

    I miss this era, immensely.

I don't think anyone would. Instrumental in turning a decent team under Jackett into something truly special. The League One winning team was great entertainment. For his faults Sousa gave Martinez's entertainers more of a spine which Brendan was able to take forward to the PL and taken even...

Glamorgan Cricket Club 2025 - Promotion???

For context it's 18 points for a win with a maximum of 8 bonus points . We can't finish bottom and with games running out two draws is likely to seal second. The three below who could catch us would need to win both games and there's not great weather in the long range forecasts.
