    Mike Peters RIP

Alarm frontman sadly passes away at 66. Seemed like the only welsh band in the mid-80s and enjoyed them supporting U2 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c5y7mxzn9nlo

    Do you remember....

I was at a conference so only had two days. Though even went on a boat trip the morning before coming home. Really liked Cape Town and as you say preposterously cheap with a weak Rand

    Do you remember....

Yes. If I recall we went to Fairview in Paarl to do the cheese with wine, then towards stellenbosch and Warwick wines, Lunch in a lovely mountain winery and through to Thelema and onto Franshoek. Wonderful day

I could see that against Oxford. May be a nothing game for both sides if the U's win at Cardiff.

Technically we need a point and technically we could get a play off spot.

    Next Seasons Squad

Naughton has done a more than decent job this season. Arguably the most consistent defender. Have the feeling Joe is going to hang up his boots anyway. Still got that football brain and ability is there (the tackle against Derby) but the body is not there (not often or long enough)

    Costas

Costa and Starbucks are both poor. Prefer McDonald's flat white for a fraction of the cost. The Nero one is great though. Much stronger and richer. Can't abide weak coffee after visiting Ethiopia a few times. Now that makes a doppio look like dishwater.

    Costas

Flat White's an Aussie invention. Small. strong and milky. My second favourite after a cortado.

That's why I listen to 6. At least Lauren Laverne and Craig Charles are interesting.

    Clem Burke RIP

It's difficult to conceive these days there were bands that were hugely popular like Blondie or The Jam yet remained critically acclaimed. Except perhaps 'Hear of Glass" with Girorgio Moroder 70s synth line-those singles could have been released by a cool Radio 6 band yesterday.

Was only watching 'When Blondie came to Britain' on the iPlayer Friday night. What a band! RIP Clem.

Season 24/25 | The Official Match Thread | Swansea City 3 Blackburn Rovers 0 | Att: 13,788 | The EFL Championship

Played rugby in Sunderland at university in the 80s. Pretty grim. Also stayed in a yurt at Gibside just south of Newcastle which was lovely. The Northumberland coast is stunning and very unlike South or west Wales. We had a week in a cottage in Alnmouth which is a great base with a lovely...

Swansea City 3-0 Blackburn Rovers – Your player ratings

Would pretty much agree with everything. Really thought O’Brien made us tick. Nice to see the CM passing forward and retrieving when lost. Wide players taking on their man. Centre forward holding the ball up and harassing defenders. Simple really

    Trump 2.0

China will be loving this. Dismantling of USAID takes away much of their soft power in Africa giving China free rein to exploit the continent's development. There was massive Chinese investment in Ethiopia when I worked there. Already using African labour as cheaper again than China.
