The bigging up of Ethan Galbraith

People were saying that about Franco this time last year.

    Basketball link to swans?

Wiki editors are weird people. Might be someone else, but he's the closest serious link to the club with a basketball background. Whilst the Martha Stewart stuff is probably just Snoop having a bit of fun with a friend, I have always thought that we've not seen the last of the "celebrity"...

Be Aware - Potential Bus Strikes (22nd Oct to 25th Bus Strike Cancelled)

First Cymru strike on 22nd Oct apparently for those who bus to games.

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

If the amount spent guaranteed quality then Stoke would have been promoted years ago.

Cooper is done as a Swansea City player. Just not good enough for what we want to achieve. He'll almost certainly never play for us again.

Nothing is a given. It's certainly good enough to do so.

Aye. I very much doubt that we've spent the kind of money we have aiming for a mid table finish.

The other thing that surprised me when I found out about it was that u14's must be accompanied by an adult. I'd gone to dozens of games on my own before I got to that age. Think I'd even had a Season Ticket. I get having a minimum age, but that seems a little high to me.

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

Entertainment is a big thing. We've been as dull as ditchwater to watch since before COVID, and if I had a couple of kids I'd be thinking long and hard about forking out to attend the match (and the drinks, and probably a bit of scoff) only to have them fidgeting with boredom within 20 minutes...

    Less entitlement and more encouragement

I don't know if it's already been covered on the topic, but our attendances this season are actually a bit higher than they were at the start of 2010/11. Indeed, we played Leicester around the same time of the year and there was actually about 2,000 fewer there then than on Saturday. Our...

Yep. Again I liked Ollie Cooper, but it's been obvious now for a good 2-3 years that he's not got the skillset we need him to have. Pops up with the odd goal, decent work rate. Not much else.

    Russell Martin

Jake Humphrey has had his head up Russy's arse for a while. Amusing to see the responses that those posts are getting now.

More miss than hit. Barring that six week spell up until Boxing Day last year he has mostly flattered to deceive. You could probably make a case that he's a player slightly out of his time. 20 years ago he'd have been a reasonable strike partner for a big strong centre forward. He does have a...

He may convince the ownership of any new club, but anyone who does even hint that they might give him a job will face a fans protest. Hard to envisage any fan base in the UK not being dead set against having him as manager.

BBC journo taking no prisoners. Worth watching the video too. Distils Russy right down to his essence. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c93053rr56wo

    Stamenic

The worry is that he'll take the loss yesterday as a sign that it won't work, not that he picked the wrong players to do it.
  19. Dr. Winston

    Stamenic

I don't see that at all to be honest, especially not this season. Vipi's been all over the park. Came into midfield numerous times yesterday to try and link stuff up, perhaps a bit too much as when the ball broke he had to sprint like buggery to get into the penalty area. Idah seems more likely...

I still maintain that we'd be more fluid with an AM in the setup, just not Cullen. Could have swapped him for Inoussa and moved Eom, who was also having a good game, into the middle. Overall I think if you're going to rest Galbraith then you have to play Yalcouye as he's the only other one...
