    When your luck is out….

The guy who scores the winning goal against you gets an immediate 9 game ban on a case that has been pending for an eternity. Add to the refereeing decisions - and we are so overdue a break!

New Chants - let's make this fun!

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | PNE 2 Swansea City 1 | Att: 15,911 | 05/11/25 | The EFL Championship | Deepdale

Absolutely the most frustrating thing about a whole sequence of gamers (including PNE) is that these teams are VERY basic, and certainly no better than us. They just have a winning mentality, particularly in the final third. A wonder strike and a defensive calamity aside we totally dominated...

    Our attacking intent

At least if we aren't creating in open play - we have our mastery of set pieces to fall back on

I was calling for more attacking through central areas - what I didn't envision was a team where we set up without any of our many wingers  Key and Tymon can provide some width - so let's grab the popcorn and see how it rolls out! Maybe a master stroke or alternatively the baby going...

    Our attacking intent

Yes - exactly this.. We are searching for a tactical approach that suits the personnel, and to date have failed. However, we have talent - and this needs to be harnessed correctly. Just for the record - in my opinion - this means playing with a genuine #10 that helps prevent our striker...

    'Tackle' on Eom

Screenshots are great - but we all know away from home, in the first minute - he could have ripped Eom’s leg off and tossed it into the stands- there was no way that twat would have had the balls to make a red card decision

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

Statistically we don’t concede very easily..stats dont back it up. What stats reveal is there are only 5 teams that have let less goals in But carry on you 😳

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

Another factor is that I believe we are the ONLY championship team who have failed to score from a set piece this season (barring Idah's penalty). This can make a huge difference in games that are decided by fine margins. Not sure who is coaching this aspect these days - but we need a rethink!

Are we doing OK or underachieving?

I think (man for man) we have a squad capable of a top 6 finish. However, at the moment, our team is less than the sum of the parts. I quite like the managers pragmatism at times. However, I feel like he has to find a solution to joining up the top end of the pitch with the midfield and defense...

    S25/26 | The Official Match Thread | Charlton 1 Swansea 1 | Att: 20,405 (2,227Jacks) | 01/11/25 | The EFL Championship | The Valley

So much better 2nd half. We actually look decent at times and dominated Charlton for large periods. To my mind our issue is the lack of creTivity from the 2 wide players I lost count of the times Eom and Ronald got behind the defence and had a chance to olay a killer ball. They didn’t and that...

I think a quick Swedish 2 step would transform this game Widell and Inoussa for Ronald and Eom - play Andy Fisher up front instead of Idah 😳

Well, gentlemen, I am not saying it is a good or bad thing necessarily. But we sheehan,s pragmatism on full display today. With the team that plays very little football, he has decided to match us up to defend physically and go long. No principles on display today. I hope it works out - but it...

That was a bloody good effort against TOP TOP opposition. If we can get a premptive bid in for Casey (especially) and Smith Samuels - they look way better than most loan signings we have had. To summarise the challenge we faced - both teams made changes in the second half. Their changes were to...

    NFL 2025

Aaron fucking Rodgers - he dicked us around for over a decade - and when you finally need him to stand up and win a game - he bends you over the table and loses!

Lol - there is ZERO wrong with Vigs ankle - the message goes in for a tactical stoppage and the keeper goes down because he doesn’t have to leave the pitch for 30 seconds. The biggest tell is Vig gets “treatment” Fisher doesnt even flinch on the bench 😂

For those that were wailing and gnashing teeth at the departure of Darling. Enjoy watching how he didn't close down Vip for 2 thunderbolt strikes. Almost like he had never seen him play before!
