All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

My daughter been nagging me to take her to some games so was contemplating coming back after several years away from attending but doubt that'll happen with those prices.

I think this will turn out to be a shot in the foot and that the overall revenue stream from general sales will decrease from last season.
A better marketing ploy would have gone down the route of making a big thing out of freezing general sale prices, creating a little feel good factor in times where families worry about putting meals on tables, and ultimately attracting more casuals into the stadium.
This pricing model relies on good results on the pitch.

The club will undoubtedly know this is a crass decision based on the fact that it was not accompanied by the usual fanfare from Winter, the Trust and probably Silverstein. These people have usually gone down the "we are keeping things competitive and appreciating the difficult situation our wonderful Jack Army are in" line

This is a test for the Trust's ability to be a friend who asks the tough questions though. I'll be interested to see what they say in public.

Of course it’s not the Trust that is raising prices but there was a time when the Trust would have openly said that it was against the rises and was very unhappy about it and argued against it.
I’m not holding my breath with this Trust set up.

As you say, the Trust need to give their take on it. That'll be interesting.

Those wages don't pay for themselves.
Loved the £20 is plenty, wouldn't have gone to most except for that. Near enough £40 for Leeds and Sheff Wed meant I didn't go.
Looking at the WBA site and dearest tickets are £25.
Fair do's, their u17 season tickets are only £23 and £99 for under 20's.
