No idea who it is, but with a name like that, he's taking us up.

Done well with Brighton didn’t he? But he wouldn’t be a long term fit he’s lucky to finish the season off at clubs.

Seems his longest managerial role was 78 games under Red Bull. Impressive stats nonetheless, well over a 50% win record over his career and has some strong career links which may prove useful in the loan market.

Not quite the superstar pulling power that Laudrup had but you don't spend 14 years at Barcelona if you are a chump.

Big passion in developing youth apparently which alone would be a massive selling point and might give the likes of Iwan Morgan and Ben Lloyd even more belief that they have a clear pathway into the side and that its in their interests to sign contracts with us.

We won't need long term, no one wants to work for Levien longer than a strawberry season.

Didn't he have a season at Watford too? (I suppose most have, at some point).

Interesting link none the less.

I was thinking that. One January transfer window kills our manager.

his win% is actually 46% over his career thats mainly due to his initial spell at maccabi 65% wr, and at rb salzburg 69% wr, however for his other 7 appointments results were far less impressive. im not saying we give him a miss perse as we are going to struggle for options, and as you say his emphasis on youth development is a plus point especially in bringing the likes of morgan and lloyd into the first team

Nothing about that resume encourages me. Best success was Salzberg where he took over the reigning champions. Got Brighton to 6th place but was ready to leave before the season ended. Lasted 4 games at Watford until he had health issues and resigned.

Nobody will be really happy whatever. It's just a punt. The response to Rodgers was hardly warm. After all, he had fallen on his arse totally at Reading.

He was 4th choice here as well.

I was over the moon with Rodgers. Mourinho used to talk him up constantly.
