Martin didn't pursuade him to stay at Swansea. There was no serious interest from anyone else.

If he keeps playing like he has done in the last few games though that's to our benefit. Duff seems to be getting better, more effective, less obsessed with anything other than pointless possession recycling performances out of him than anyone since Potter.

He‘s been taken out of his comfort zone which he enjoyed under Martin and is looking a far better player as a result.
