All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.
Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.
It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.
The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.
Thank you though for all the memories

I remember hearing on the radio on the M5 on my to see Cheap Trick,I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Mind you some people love to goad and bully people for their appearance on the internet when they have no idea what’s going on in their lives,there’s some hateful c*nts on Swans forums alone let alone elsewhere.

I remember hearing the news on the Sunday morning. I think, honestly, I was so shocked I didn't grasp the enormity of what had happened.
Back in the day I used to go to Leeds games a fair bit (because my mate was a journo there who'd get me press passes). Speedy ALWAYS had time to talk. He was just so...decent...if that makes sense. While loads of Leeds players would just shun the waiting journos Gary would patiently handle interviews. A class act.
It breaks my heart to think what he must have been going through; his poor wife; his poor kids. Terrible.
