Would take him although can’t remember what he was like with the ball. Signed under Cooper so suggests he wasn’t a ball player. Would be a decent pick up for any Champ team though.

Decent shout that. Played 35+ league games in 4 of his 5 seasons at Stoke.

You’d hope that the scouting/recruitment dept aren’t just looking at former players though

We need something different that Cabango and Burgess and Wilmot is a similar type of player.

Key, Ronald, Cooper, Vip/Galbraith, Santos, Congreve, Cotterill will all go permanently imo. I'm hoping Burgess aswell but I just can't see it.

Wilson, Wales, Bianchini will be loaned out imo.

That should see 15-20million brought in. A majority of that will be pure profit especially if Vip leaves as they are most are from the academy/frees. That will significantly boost our Psr position and allow us to spend more freely.

As for incomings a CB, RB, RWx2, CM, ST/CM depending on which of Vip/Galbraith leaves and a backup LB is all we need.

These guys have to be starting quality players, we have a decent foundation to build on lets not waste it and have another poor summer window.

Believing that we would only get 15-20m if we sold both Vip and Galbraith is woefully pessimistic and thats without the other players you listed

Vip on his own would command 15-20m based on his goalscoring record both domestically and internationally, his age and his nationality that means he won't be absent for periods of the season (in other words not tied into the AFCON)

I expect Key to stay and will compete with Parker for the right back spot.
I expect the club would listen to offers for Ronald. Cooper, Santos, Bianchini and Cotterill.
I expect the club to want to keep Congreve to offer competition on the right wing
I expect that the club will sell either Galbraith or Vipotnik but not both unless the money offered is crazy good

There’s no point selling Key and Ronald at those sorts of prices. I think both are still useful for our squad. Key especially after his upturn in form.

I don't get the dismissal of Key

Since Matos pulled him out of the firing line and rebuilt his confidence he has been great since his return and the injury which opened the door for Parker to get a run of games was unfortunate timing for him. He played well yesterday, the problems that we were encountering were nothing to do with him and he did well to marshal Toure the whole game who can be a handful

I also think 1-2 million for Congreve who has a handful of Championship first team games to his name and none in the past two years is wildly optimistic. He seems to have had a great season out on loan in the Scottish Prem and hopefully he can offer a genuine competition for the right wing slot if not make it his own next season

Agree that Bianchini seems to have flopped at Pompy and we will likely look to get rid same as Santos though

Personally I would look at the following

Vigs-Fish

Key-Parker-Tymon-Burgess-Cabango-Lissah

Fulton-Stamenic-Franco-Widell-Walta-Galbraith

Ronald-Eom-Inoussa

Vipotnik-Idah

Anyone else not in that list then we look to move on permanently or loan.
I would certainly entertain any serious inquiry for 3 or 4 on the list and replace if sold.

I would say from that list, we would need a CB, LB and Winger.

I agree with most of that, I would say we would probably need another midfielder with Yalcoue gone and if we move Cullen on. One injury there and suddenly it looks slim.

If we want to be fighting at the top of the league we have to be moving these guys on. It's quite telling that he only has 1 year left on his deal and the haven't extended him like they have done recently with Vigs, Fulton, Vip, Galbraith , Fisher and Tymon.

I would look to improve the spine of the side and out wide to a lesser degree.

You need to recruit in this league just to stand still and the reliance on Vip is not a great place to be.

For me -

Ball playing CB with pace who can contribute with goals and improve on the pitiful return from our current CB's from set peices and corners.

The RB debate could be settled with a combo of Key, Lissah and Parker battling it out.

Fulton will be another year older and Cooper clearly isn't in Matos plans.

You could add Cooper to the Cullen, Widell, Walta group all very similar in my view.

Happy with Stemenic, Galbraith (if he stays) and Franco .

I would only consider Yalcouye for a return out of all this seasons loanees.

Players i would move on would be, Ronald, Ward, Santos, and Cooper and possibly Cullen and Burgess.
