According to the Sunderland forum it's because of our cynical time-wasting. They agree that the ref must be bent, and wonder how much we've paid him. And our 22 is a thug.
So nothing new there. They also can't stand Lee Trundle's voice.

Piroe looked knackered after like 30 minutes and in that second half couldn't trap a bag of cement.
A few others looked tired too after two long midweek away trips.

We were the better side in the first half but odd as it sounds with a 2-0 lead we didn't really make the most of it. There were loads of gaps appearing and we just didn't seem to want to exploit them. It underlined the fact that the team lacks pace and Piroe really struggles upfront without someone like Paterson behind him. A lone striker he is not.
Second half Sunderland tightened up, put us right under the press (more the second ball press) and we looked wobblier than a Russian bridge. We had no out ball until Oba came on and spent far too long trapped in our own final third. Not sure if I'd have made the same tactical choices that RM did. Latibeaudiere is not a RWB under any circumstances.
Still, a valuable three points and a battling performance overall. Good to pick up a win even when we weren't at our best, and Mowbray sides are rarely mugs.
