Today's attendance

The guy sitting next to me today used to be a ST holder but hasn’t attended a game for years, so i suppose some of those PL fans might start coming back if we keep winning and play an exciting brand of football.

Well they’ll definitely come back if we reach the PL but they’ll piss off again if we get relegated.

Some will come back if we are challenging for the play offs.
If we were to get promoted, many fans will come back and then depart once we are relegated.

If we are playing decent football and are sitting mid table then it won't be much difference.

Some of us are overseas on a trip. The season starts ridiculously early these days.

Quite disappointed by this today. Can be argued that it's summer holiday etc etc but surely that could have been a benefit.
The club have been proactive and showing ambition with recruitment....Cooper,Martin and Williams all long gone so for me there was no excuses on that front.

Should have been closer to a sell out for me today. Hopefully a pick on numbers next weekend after today's result and a couple of new faces coming in.

Middle of August many possibly away with family,I know several stalwarts who play cricket and so werent at the game as they were playing . The season used to start at thr end of August now its at the beginning.
As has been said todays attendence was coose to last seasons average. Looking around me today several empty seats usually with ST s who I suspect to be filled once September comes.
