I haven't mentioned Cullen, I'm talking about Widell and Yalcouye. Do you think we have seen anything resembling the best of either?

Not directly, you were insinuating the manager is at fault thought.

Wirtz and Isak haven't hit the ground running at Liverpool just yet, are you going to write them or Slot off?

I'm not interested in Liverpool or any other team, i am discussing what is happening at the Swans, and i will repeat it, with the reputation that Widell and Yalcouye had coming here we are certainly seeing nothing like that in a Swans shirt. With Widell now not even in the matchday squad , yes that is down to the manager. Apparently he was so good we had to sign him in January and loan him back for fear of missing out on him, and Yalcouye was playing almost a full season including champions league football. Widell can't even get in the squad before Fulton , and Yalcouye didn't play Tuesday and only a small part Saturday. The truth is the manager hasn't got a clue what his best team is.

FFS - i have woken up in an alternate reality where fans are moaning because we have too many options and too much depth.
The championship is attritional and we will need all of these players. It is also an environment where new sognings take a while to adapt.
We are in a very good place when we can boast a subs bench like we now have.
Short memories for some- take a look at our sub options 2 years ago!

Irrelevant if you like Fulton or not. And I am not his biggest fan. One thing he has over anyone else in the squad is experience of championship football and is known from reports to be a big part of the squad behind the scenes. Widell has come with hype, but means nothing when it comes to championship football. It takes a certain player to adapt, irrelevant of your history before. Yalcouye I would disagree on. He is 19 and cannot be expected to play every game in the championship. He has brought alot to the team. Does Sheehan know his best mid-field? Maybe not, but I would rather have lots of options than nothing at all.

Fulton has been a liability since Cooper was manager here.

Again.. Did I say I was a fan? No. But like him or not, he brings something to the team in experience. You questioned why he was getting ahead of Widell and I'm saying why it's the case.

Yalcouye has been very good, he’s 19 years old so isn’t going to be playing every single 90 mins, it’s like he starts every other game. I would have started him against Leicester but he obviously wanted to get the messaging right and reward Cullen for his recent goal and assist off the bench.

I think there's certainly some understandable frustration that - of all the new players brought in to midfield - the one that appeared to fit the biggest need in midfield is the only one who hasn't been integrated into the team so far. There may well be very good reasons why that hasn't happened yet (and hopefully it is 'yet'), but that's certainly part of the frustration.

Not having him in the matchday squad is odd though, although I can understand the logic of Fulton as he's the senior players with lots of experience (if part of the problem is that Sheehan thinks WIddell is a bit too naive/green at the moment).

I'll point you back in to the direction of Liverpool. It's a carbon copy of what is happening with us, are you going to write them off like you're prepared to do with our manager? I'm guessing probably not.

In terms of Fulton getting on the bench instead of Widdell, they are different types of player which we need on the bench to alter the outcome of games.

Nope, it's not some kind of weird dream. The moanometer has moved on.

From what I've seen of Yalcouye he's a little gem of a player at 19 years old.
I firmly believe he's going to have a fine career.

Widell has been poor so far, but I suppose we can afford to let him develop with Yalcouye here. Or maybe we can recall Cooper in January too.
