• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Starting to see a player in him.
His strength really stood out today along with his touch and intelligence.
Well you do take a while to notice things . There’s always been a player “in him”. Some of us saw it in Spain it’s just you, a few others and Sheehan who have a blind spot or in Sheehan’s case prefers yes men like Cullen who will run around a lot while the opposition run past them with the ball.
It was Vipotnik who was last years “Widdell/Inoussa” and look what happened there.
Sheehan’s failure is he sets out to counter teams without making them counter what we are doing. Passive not aggressive.

I think he deserves a chance in the role.

I have beat the drum that he is not a 10 but we currently don't have a serious contender for that role so it would be nice to give him a go as he seems to have attributes to play that position.
Wasn't I telling you this months ago? At the time you said “he’s only once or twice played there, he’s a central midfielder blah blah blah “.
Take a break from being the all seeing and knowing - when you’re neither!

So let me get this right, you have been telling me this and that but YOU WANT ME to take a break from being the all seeing and knowing!?

🤣 Ok, that makes sense!

Let's see him play at 10 shall we first before you give the big "I was right" speech. The fact is that he has hardly played there but it's not saying he can't do a job there.

I was always consistent that there was a player in Vipotnik.
I must have got lucky with that one.

Gave my ticket away Wednesday due to a bloody virus. Watched most of the first half, what really stood out to me was Widdell geeing all the players up, high fiving, screaming, picking our lads up off the floor.
If we’re going to make any sort of attempt at the play offs, I think he will be the key.
