• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

I was. And I think Pegojack may have been the chap who gave me and a certain london legal type a lift back to Girona after it turned out there was no way to actually leave Peralada or the nearest town that evening by public transport!

Hi guys, I've been racking my brains for a few years trying to remember where that game actually was, and now you've answered my question. Do you remember that it was scorching hot and after the match, the whole playing squad ran to the nearby public pool and jumped in?
Funnily enough, I stayed in Perelada overnight last year on my way to a boating holiday on the Canal du Midi. if I'd known that was the place we played, I'd have gone to look for the sports ground.
That was a great tour....

Wow, was that you?? I was in the passenger seat while Pego was driving and I remember programming Girona bus station into my satnav and dropping you there and having directions given by a somewhat vulgar Ozzy Osbourne    , must have been after midnight? Did the London legal type ever go by the board name of Dafydd y Garreg Wen?

The leg end that is Daf, put me up when I was homeless, had some great times over the years with him and the rest of the Seals/Londonjacks, during my year up there

Yes very much still around. Used to have the seat in front of me in the East Stand until I moved last season.

More a regular face at the London games, but usually makes it down for a half dozen games a season.

He hasn't changed
