• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

VAR In the Championship

Post by blackflyingswan » 12 Sep 2021 16:28
Considering the financial reward in promotion to the PREM League .Why is VAR not included in the Championship???
The fine line in football today & the amount of money involved VAR is essential in the Championship. :o :|
e.g the penalty decision not awarded yesterday The first one definitely a penalty .TWO POINTS lost.

It will only be a matter of time

I totally agree though it would have made a difference on Saturday

I am surprised nobody has brought this topic up before.

VAR definitely needed in the Championship.

Swansea do seem to have more decisions going against us than for us. Again I am surprised this has not been mentioned before.

I mentioned it at the start of the season, VAR is in use in La Liga 2 in Spain, with far less resources than the Championship

You should bump the thread. Would be interesting to see everyones views then and see if anything has changed.

I posted it in the Fulham vs Swans match day thread

The thing is if VAR was introduced into the championship our 2nd goal vs coventry might have been chalked off and we may have well picked up 1 point instead of 3! Id rather leave the game the way it is I hate VAR! I do believe decsions over the course of the season generally even themselfs out.
