The next few days will be interesting. For all the talk, so far, this is not a good window.

Key looks ok. Not sure losing Manning, Piroe, Latti and possibly Wood and Pato is a reasonable exchange though. Although the worst signing could be Duff (early days of course, but first impressions a bit underwhelming).

I really hope we have decent transfer targets lined up by tomorrow. To come out of this window with a weaker squad especially compared to outgoings would be a travesty.

Absolutely no excuses for this.
We've sold players for money and freed up wages from the squad.
To go to January with a weaker squad is criminal.
I get there is an existing wage structure that they don't want to break & sometimes personal reasons get in the way of a move, but we should have had targets scouted, profiled and discussed, ready to come in.

The thing is we as fans will piss and moan about it but very little else, vote with your feet and wallets, send a message to the owners.

Trying to be optimistic, hopefully the lack of links or stories is due to the club plugging leaks and we can get a few in.

As you say the capability to do it appears to be ready. There's a large transfer money surplus from this window now, with a loan type agreement in place presumably to expedite that money into the clubs accounts. And of course the much feted 'investment' which we're due to learn more of once the window shuts.

But yea, not sure how anyone can have much faith in these owners based on previous windows. Not looking good, but we'll see.

Doubt it. This is following the normal pattern. Look out for last minute loan panic.

I see Keinan D has gone to Italy. His “medical with us” (copyright, in the knowers) must have been too hard 🤣🤣🤣🤣

If rumours are true he was demanding almost 30k a week and a signing on fee of almost a million pounds.
We were prepared to meet one but not both of those demands and rightly so.
