Looking at our remaining fixtures I might have been a bit premature by saying we’re safe.

Real test for Matos and the team, some real tough away games and apart from Charlton all the other fixtures at home look a real challenge, interesting times me thinks.

I kind of think the opposite, our away fixtures look easier than they have been, apart from Wrexham. There’s like 3 games that I think will be a proper struggle, 3 games we should be pushing for a win and 5 games where we should be competitive. I predict us getting 15-18pts

Wrexham, Portsmouth, Sheff Utd, Norwich, Leicester QPR, all teams who will playing for something and fixtures where historically we haven’t done very well, nowhere near eighteen points from those and our home fixtures.

Again apart from Wrexham I don’t see why we shouldn’t be expecting results, All those teams are performing similarly to us and have no more to play for than us. Except Leister who seem to be imploding. We’re averaging 1.5pts a game under Matos, I don’t see why that will drastically change. And I’m hopeful it can improve.

Mate, have a look at the table, all those sides will be playing for something.

Table:
Swansea 16th
Portsmouth 19th
Sheffield utd 13th
QPR 15th
Norwich 17th

How’re any of them playing for any more than we are? And how can we not be expecting some results from them? Wrexham yes they’re in the playoffs and Leicester are in a relegation scrap they do have more to play for.

I think we have one away win under Matos, the majority of his points have come at home and our remaining home games look pretty challenging, we’re going to need a remarkable turnaround in our away form to get anywhere near the 15-18 points you reckon.
If we pick up 10 from our remaining fixtures we’d have done well in my opinion.

2 away wins. And we played 4 of the top six in that stretch of away games. 2 other away losses happened in Matos’s first week. And we were unlucky not to get more points in a fair few of them. The losses look bad on paper until you put the games in context. I’m confident we can turn our away woes around in the last stretch.
