Police Officers on duty because of the match today….apparently.

It’s sheer madness.

Its seemed better organised in previous games.

Still, as the dipshits can't be trusted to behave themselves it's better to have too many plod in attendance than too few.

No overtime all given more than 14 days notice so just get a rest day back if they weren’t working, everyone works 10hr shifts now so all on 7-7.

Plus all the people who should. Have been a weekend off called in to cover those working at the game at their home stations.

That’s why they have so many vacancies nobody wants to do it anymore, Teresa May took away the pensions so no point in staying in for life.

Thank you for correcting my LJ.

Just had two cops come to work for me after 6 years in the job, totally disillusioned with Policing.

Worrying times for all of us because if you can’t get people to do it you end up with a pretty poor police service that we all need at some point in our lives.

But try getting one to come to your house if you’re burgled.

In my day, that was a guarantee and a measure of performance. CID were always required to attend and every house break was reviewed every morning by management. God forbid if you hadn’t done everything possible to detect it.

Teresa May and Tom Winsor destroyed Policing. Winsor is now head of HMI and crying that his recommendations have resulted in a complete destruction of policing.

Bloody hell, surely they would be better employed arresting people for a bit of cannabis possession 👀

Yes, or maybe executing a warrant on somebody’s house who’s occupant is enjoying a glass of red wine with their meal.👍
