• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

The season we got relegated from the first division, we were tipped by the pundits to go back up, watching today’s game reminded me of that period and our similarities to Leicester, amazing how football fortunes can change so quickly.

Incredible collapse from them this season when you think about the fact they got 97 points in this league 2 years ago, with quite a few of the players still in their squad.

Lots of mismanagement after the tragedy of what happened to their owner, but even after his passing they were consistently finishing in the top 10 and pushing for Champions League.

Got to enjoy the good times!

It's 5 years since they won the FA Cup and 10 since they won the Premier league.

I have zero pity for them whatsoever

Any team who not only financially cheats but doesn't even try to hide it and instead rules lawyer the fact that the FA couldn't punish them as they were a PL club and then trying to do the same when breaking the PL financial rules the season they got relegated

The FA might be one thing but the PL would never let themselves lose face like that and they helped the FA to throw the book at them. Very much hoping they go down and I won't mourn their demise for one second
