It's all getting bit out of hand this debate. We don't really know how much he is on, we haven't seen enough of him yet to really see what he can do. A player like anyone in a work environment can perform better or worse depending on many factors. It's not like we we did a raffle and randomly picked him. If it pays off fantastic, if it doesn't it doesn't. Let's all stop being impatient, give the lad a chance. It could take weeks or months. Who knows.

He done ok for us.
Didn't he get 8 goals for us at 20yrs old.

He got dogs abuse at the time. Ended up playing for Chelsea and Roma as their starting CF. Plenty of players have a move that doesn’t work out for them.

I don’t believe in taking opinions of fans on board to judge a player, especially when the club is a Champions League club and we are in the Championship, different expectations and standards. He scored 20 last year and helped them win the league and cup double.

Sometimes your face doesn’t fit. I remember being told Sinclair and Routledge were journeymen and Dyer was a trouble maker.

Idah has played about 40 mins of league football for us, impossible to drop Vipotnik at the moment. Unfair to pass comment until he gets a run in the side in my view.

A lot of people blamed Abraham for our problems up front when it was clear that Clement's style of play was the problem. He probably wasn't top-top level but he's gone on to have a very decent career overall.

He didn’t want to come here.

So that’s not a stick to beat us with.
I don’t understand why this isn’t grasped, like Potter wanted to go to the PL, and so did the Russbot to bigger when Southampton came sniffing, even if we wanted to keep him, which we didn’t. People seem to think we’re a club that can pick and choose who joins us and stays. It’s weird.

People are miffed we've actually spent money elsewhere and some people love nostalgia, it's like this obsession with Cameron Toshack when we're looking for a new manager.
