Out of curiosity, I hope someone would know the answer to this.

It was put to me today, is Worth actually doing his job based in Swansea?

Why does it matter?

He’s hardly taking training.
Such an important role, I would hope that he was in the building and face to face with others.
There should be close connections and not having people in these types of role not on point in the building, possibly being based in mainland Europe wouldn't be ideal.

I know it's the modern world and remote working is all the craze but I feel such an important role should atleast see a person based in or close to the City.

And also, has Gorringe now moved to or close to the City? Or is he still commuting from the west country?

There was genuine optimism on September 2nd, and I get that because most incoming transfers do create an air of positivity. However it’s a bit of a stretch to still maintain a positive view.
Its a bit like the Cussack window in the great escape season.

But then we signed Tommy Mutton and James Keaveney from Port Tennant Colts.

This time we have spent close on 20 million quid and it feels like a shit show again.

For the record I am.not just blaming Adam Worth but the whole recruitment set up as first impressions indicate serious failings.

It doesn't matter where he is based but I know for a fact he is not based in Swansea.

Could be on the moon for all I care providing the players that are signed are good enough.
It would be a lot better if he was in Swansea on daily basis working with the manager and being in and around the training ground.

We're much better together than chatting over a Teams call.

I really don’t think we need a recruitment person at and around the training ground!

Eyes on the ground and all that. I'd rather head of recruitment closer to the manager and players than further away.

It's been mentioned a few times we need real football people running the club. The only way you can a feel for things is being in and around it.

I'd rather someone hands on than at arms length.

Hollins signed Mutton.
Just saying.
