The Egyptian FA sacrificing a cow to get good fortune didn't seem to work as they've got knocked out on penalties by DR Congo. Maybe Congo sacrificed a bigger cow?

Egypt almost managed to get to the quarterfinals without actually winning a game of football. Which would have been quite some achievement.
