• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Alan Sheehan on Plymouth Argyle | Reaction

Looks like Sheehan really did like his gift from the weekend. He did say he likes hoodies. 🤣🤣 That was defo not on my Bingo Card for 2025 and Swansea. A Death Row Collaboration. 🤣

He failed to mention we had no shots on target second half and let Plymouth create chances from our lack lustre midfield. Why no Bobby Wales when he said he needs to get minutes into players?

Eom was impressive last night, I hope the injury is not serious. Not sure how it came about, there was no contact with a Plymouth player before he went down.

Wales would have come on but we had already made four subs by the time Casey needed to be replaced. Eom and Casey injuries basically meant that we couldn’t make the subs we wanted I think.

Early days yet for Mr Sheehan but he is not warming the cockles like Martinez/Rodgers or Laudrup. I would compare him to Paul Clement, trying to be solid with very little attacking structure. Our speed of play needs upping, far too slow and boring. I want to be entertained and the entertainment is still falling short.

I agree with the attacking structure point. I think our main mode of attack under Sheehan is to just go down the wings but we don’t have the wingers to go past people constantly. We also need to be far better in transition if we are to capitalise on the ball winning midfield we have.

Very much early days though, Sheehan still has time and we’ve picked up 4 points from the first 3 so could have been a lot worse.

Jesus, there’s a name I hoped never to hear again. Not content with getting us relegated, Paul Clement took Reading down to the relegation zone before they sacked him and nearly finished off Cercle Brugge, losing 17 out of 24 games before they showed him the door. Now there’s a man who could show Russell Martin how to sell snake oil. I hope to God Sheehan is a better manager than Clement!
