• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Great for the genuine fans who can remember them from the off, but doesn't it show a dearth in modern music that retro is the new "in thing".

Abba are back albeit in special computerised effects, the 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls is seeing them getting talked about in the same breaths as the likes of the Beatles!

And nearly every bloody band member in the history of creation has somewhere on file a picture of them wearing a "Cheap Trick" t shirt!!!!

Cheap Trick are over here next year as well.

I didn’t pay £80. It’s not just the Cult either, but if it’s not your bag there’s no point spending money on it.

Thanks for the update. Do you actually mean Alice Cooper is playing as well??? Wow
I'd like to see the Cult again but have no real interest in paying to see Alice Cooper. Hope this helps

Every one so prickly.

As it goes I’m not going for AC either but being as he’s there may as well see the show before he pegs it’s. Less than £65 a ticket for both acts, not £80+ for just the Cult.

Hope this helps.

I wondered about that, which would be an odd thing for them to do as they can easily fill these type of venues on their own. It doesn’t seem to be a opener/headliner type billing, just that they’re playing together like the Cult did with Bush and another band (I forget) a couple of years ago - there was no headliner as such as the bands rotated and they got the same stage time. Doesn’t matter anyway, if the Cult are on first I get home earlier. 😀

They’re not supporting you’re right. They’re co headlining with Alice.

Oh dear 'Every one is so prickly' and then you go on to fulfil your own definition. Very prickly. Hope this helps
