• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Every one so prickly.

As it goes I’m not going for AC either but being as he’s there may as well see the show before he pegs it’s. Less than £65 a ticket for both acts, not £80+ for just the Cult.

Hope this helps.

Oh dear 'Every one is so prickly' and then you go on to fulfil your own definition. Very prickly. Hope this helps

It’s no coincidence that you’ve got the same initials as Irritable Bowel.

Great for the genuine fans who can remember them from the off, but doesn't it show a dearth in modern music that retro is the new "in thing".

Abba are back albeit in special computerised effects, the 25th anniversary of the Spice Girls is seeing them getting talked about in the same breaths as the likes of the Beatles!

And nearly every bloody band member in the history of creation has somewhere on file a picture of them wearing a "Cheap Trick" t shirt!!!!

Not everyone.

"nearly every" read before you try to have a pop.

This thread is great evidence for the idea that some people are only happy when they're moaning or when they're trying to stop others being happy.

I have no interest in either act, but happy for those that are excited about this gig. As others have said, looks like AC and The Cult are 'good gets' for the new arena, so something to be celebrated for the city.

Looking at the other huge arenas they’re playing on this tour this is a massive scoop for Swansea.

Thanks - I was minding my own

Saw Alice Cooper at Wembley Arena in 1986 (I think). Nice stage show where he strangles a nurse then get's his head chopped off for his crimes. The set was (If I remember rightly) a mixture of his old classics and one or two from his then current LP. Not too keen on his later output, but his old stuff is great (I'm eighteen, Under my wheels, Billion Dollar Babies, Gotta get out of here etc..).

Is it Ian Botham?
