• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Gobsmacked, the greatest band in the world The Cult playing the greatest city in the world, I'm already in the queue for tickets :D :D :D

Fantastic coup for the new arena

Just bought my ticket , cost £ 73 with all the extras , steep I know but no other expense necessary , hotels , transport etc . and obviously supporting a new venture in the city .

See the WRU are charging £ 115 for some Wales rugby internationals this year too .

The other venues say you’re wrong.

Yes the tour has some big venues, I still don't think Alice Cooper and the cult are that big a deal, the popularity of these few dates is more down to the cult I suspect , at least no sign of bonnie Tyler yet , that's a positive

Looking at those other venues, it seems to be the kind of tour that would never have come near Swansea in the past. Even now we have the venue, there was a worry that these acts wouldn't think we have a big enough potential audience to make it worth their while. Hopefully this sells out and is a sign of things to come with the new arena.

The new arena should have no problem attracting good acts, venue cymru in Llandudno is smaller and Paul Weller , manic street preachers doing shows there soon

Did you use the code I put up? I paid £65 each including cancellation insurance. It’s a lot of money but it’s quite good value considering both these acts could probably fill this size venue on their own.
