• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

yesterday 30th april. Final day of the season. Ammanford v Llanelli

Ammanford were facing relegation from the Cymru South, along with two other clubs, Risca and Cwmbran Celtic.
The result was 5-0 to Ammanford
Trundle smashing home their third goal of the day.

Other results were...
Afan Lido 2-1 Risca
Cwmbran Celtic 0-5 Llantwit Major

Risca relegated. Ammanford and Cwmbran survive

Cymru South has become what the LOW was some 25 years ago

By that I mean teams made up of mainly local lads playing for community clubs, it's more palatable than the Cymru Premier in my opinion.

I think Ammanford were considered to be favourites this year

Trundles finish was lovely. Wonder if he fancies yet another season?

Surprised they have struggled, seems to be a bit of money spent at Ammanford

Spent a lot getting the ground up to standard. Then on the pitch, Britton, Robinson, Trundle. But only Trundle remains, the rest of the team are pretty average journeymen for that division, apart from the other forward who's scored a lot, but he's a local boy.
