Over the last half a century I can understand why people may think that my opinion of referees is that they are all blind sh1thouses who don’t know the rules, don’t understand the game and are all biased against any team that I support.

In light of the events in Cardiff last weekend, Stoke on Wednesday and Swansea today I would like to go on record to say that I misunderstood them and they are all fine upstanding people doing their very best and are the sort of men that we’d all love to share a pint with and I’m buying.

It does confirm one thing I've always believed, they always favour the big boys. We haven't been big boys for much of our existence, not even when we were languishing in th e bottom two seasons. It's always been the way, and just for once it's working in our favour.

Historically Boro are bigger than us.
Just saying

We've nothing to apologize for. Many decisions that have been awarded against us have been shocking.
But this is football and it's always been over the top with reactions and hysteria.

There are players who stand out and some change their tack once they know refs are on to them. if you look at Fulton, Bidwell and Naughton, they are honest rather than antagonistic. I can't say what the ref thinks but the rub of the green works well for players who do not wind up refs.
