When  a learning curve includes Liverpool, Leicester City and Celtic then you know that there will be a host of knowledge picked up from working with some very good players.   And of course a winning mentality.    And this is why I feel that – assuming it happens – the Chris Davies appointment...

Tidy.

As reported here on PS on the 31st of May, CD ticks all the boxes. A shortlist candidate.

Coleman then latched on and followed up with an article on WOL, 2nd June.

It’s good to see that more and more Swans fans now see he is the real deal, despite initial misgivings.

The antithesis of Martinball. Just the tonic, For proper fans, our inner core of players, inner core of backroom staff and significant stakeholders.

I share the frustration, but don't think we can announce a new manager when there's an incumbent.

We kind of did with Cooper. He was still employed by the club albeit not as the Head coach.

His departure was all sorted long before Martin was signed though, right? I know it was a weird situation with his contract until he took over at Forest, but he was officially not our manager at that point.

With Martin, everyone knows he's going to Southampton, but it's not going to be official until they're confirmed as a Championship club. I imagine if we hired someone now before he officially leaves, we'd be in a legally precarious situation.

Well he was still an employee of the club for about a month while Martin was manager of the club believe. But yes he had been relieved of manager duties before Martin was appointed.

Is "the incumbent" actually doing any work for us, and are we still paying him? We're running out of time.

I'd make the cvnt do a litter pick after tonight's concert.

Aren't all managers and players usually on holiday at this point?
