• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Lets not forget this was the keeper that Martin specially targeted to fit his "style" of football very early on in his reign

And we wonder why the owners won't back him in the transfer market

The centre half he spent so much on in the summer is on the bench. Whilst Wood, Cabango and Latibeaudiere play in defence

Half a million pounds we wasted on this lower league standard keeper, on a 11K a week contract, you knew what we was in for when MK fans weren’t arsed seeing him leave, I honestly don’t blame the Americans for not giving Martin full control on transfers, got lucky with Downes and that was because of Gill.

New keeper we signed surely has to start against Boro, Fisher not only is poor but he has no confidence and inspires no confidence in his defenders.

Not only was he directly responsible for the goal he almost repeated the EXACT same mistake in the second half.

F*cking Swansea senior 1st division keepers are better than the fish.. he's afraid and stays on his line every time a corner comes in.. plus he somehow throws simple collections to opposition players and is kamikaze with the ball at his feet.. he's got to give the new guy a go, he's the worst player we've had for years

The new keeper isn't that credible either by all accounts, the Yanks only approved his signing because they could get away with paying him 20quid a week.
